The National AI Strategy (ENIA) seeks to establish an ethical and regulatory framework to protect individual and collective rights. The challenge is to balance the benefits and risks of AI, ensuring robust, safe, transparent and fair systems. AI research is advancing rapidly, most notably General Purpose AI (GPIA), which aims to create machines capable of performing any human intellectual task. Recent examples such as ChatGPT show its impact, but also present challenges in traceability and ethics. The proposal focuses on ensuring a responsible and ethical implementation of AI in Spain.
Objectives
To advance research on responsible and ethical AI, as it becomes more complex, within the framework of purposeful AI.
Development of the IAPG, for "real" AI that is ethical and responsible.
Knowledge transfer to society as a way to know the real problems and needs existing in Industry 4.0 and in society, with emphasis on risk scenarios for the use of AI.
Promote the training of experts in the area of responsible and ethical AI.
To ensure international dissemination and collaboration for a social impact beyond our borders.
